Evelyn Greer Park was formerly known as "Pinecrest Park".  The park is renowned for having spacious yet excellently manicured green fields. K-Land Park

The park promises an array of activities to visitors that will leave a footprint in their memories as they enjoy the cool serene aura brought about by the well-manicured landscape of the park and the cool breezes coming from the park’s lake. Programming at this county park is run by the Boys & Girls Club.

Betti Stradling Memorial Park

Betti Stradling Memorial Park in Coral Springs is a wonderful place where kids can be themselves and enjoy playing baseball and other games on the playground. What you will love most about the place is the fact that it has lots of shade on the playground, nice basketball courts, and a skate park with ramps. If you enjoy playing beach volleyball, you can enjoy playing on a sand volleyball court. This is a wonderful place for kids and families, and parents can jog or walk while the kids enjoy their ball games.

Seminole Wayside Park

Seminole Wayside Park, located in Homestead, is the perfect place to enjoy nature. This park is one of the oldest parks acquired in Miami-Dade county. The park is enclosed by a low rock wall all the way around it's 27.7 acres of beauty. The park contains a variety of plant life including some endangered species. Two of these species are federally endangered, while the other twenty-four are endangered inside the state. From sunrise to sunset, this park is open to any visitors to come and enjoy. 



Dante Fascell Park

Dante Fascell Park is one of the best parks located in the city of South Miami, on Red Road east of US1. It is small but with an amazing playground, a pavilion, BBQ pits, tennis and volleyball courts, you have all you require.

Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center

The Hammock Preserve & Nature Center was named in honor of James S. Castellow who was a farmer that claimed the 160 acres of property and made his homestead in early 1900.  He was one of south Florida’s earliest citrus farmers. He carried citrus trees from the town of Cutler. Hugh Matheson, Jr. who had purchased the property in the 1950s for land trade but then the trade never happened. In 1962, Park included the tropical hardwood forest, which was a paradise for tree botanists and snail collectors.
