Delray Art League 50th Anniversary events will celebrate local art through exhibits and sales by local artists. This event will be a unique and fascinating part of the weekend scene in downtown Delray Beach. The Delray Art League has over 200 juried members in all categories of art, including photography.

The 50th anniversary celebration is a big deal! In addition to plenty of artist displays, there will be interactive family fun. On Thursday, registered artists will spread out around the area to create art outdoors, and then return to the park for exhibition and sales. Can you guess where the art was created? Awards to artists will be presented at 5:00 pm. The Florida Youth Orchestra will perform and refreshments will be available. On Saturday and Sunday musicians and street performers will enliven the scene and youth art will be featured. Large pads of paper will be given out for kids who want to create and display(!) their own masterpieces. Combine this experience with other activities in downtown Delray, like the Saturday morning green market, and you could spend the entire day downtown!
