The Delray Swim & Tennis Club features 24 clay courts and a clubhouse that opened in the summer of 2006, that has a pro shop with merchandise and locker rooms. This complex is located south of Linton and just east of I-95. Make sure you use a map because there are a few twists and turns through a residential area to get to the tennis courts and pool. Fortunately, the city has posted a couple of signs along the way in. Pay attention going in because there are no signs leading you back out. Nice quiet area with ample parking, restrooms and nice tennis courts. Pool has swim lessons that, reportedly, are quite good and inexpensive. The pool is equpped with a PAL for accessibility with a lift capacity of 300 lbs. which can accommodate most users. The lift is battery operated and controls are waterproof and submersible for operator convenience. The lift is also provided with a footrest. Nearby Leon Weekes Preserve is a wonderful place to go to play even in the summer as it's nicely shaded. Rates vary. The City of Delray Beach is RENAMING this facility so the name may change.
