Vista View Park

Vista View Park is a gorgeous park located in the Town of Davie in Broward County. This park has 272 acres of rolling hills and meadows. The park was created with nature in mind. Landscapers created three native habitats to the park: Dry prairie, mesic flatwoods, and hammock using plants native to the area. The hope is that more animals will make this park their natural habitat. This park is a popular location for outdoor enthusiasts and families who love to try different activities.

William B. Armstrong Dream Park

Named for a Pembroke Pines City Commissioner, the William B. Armstrong Dream Park opened in 2001. The six-acre area features long, wandering walkways which encourage placid strolls among arbors of flowers. Platforms offer picturesque overlooks of water, waterfalls and natural foliage which is native to South Florida. The park is appropriate for all ages. Although there is no playground equipment, youngsters can find plenty of open space to run and play. Families can enjoy picnicking and visiting in the great Florida weather.

Losner Park

Losner Park is a well-known historical park located in the heart of Homestead Florida. It holds many historic monuments about the local area which are great for educating your children. It has well-kept landscaping and fresh green grass, great for tourists and families. The park features benches and a stage for performances. It is a very peaceful place for the family to engage in recreation activities when there is no major event being held.

Empire Park

If you are looking for a quiet place to spend a few hours with your family, Empire Park in Greenacres is a nice small 2+ acre park with just the amenities you need to have a fun-filled time together.  Empire Park is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and has plenty of shade for our warm South Florida days.  Empire has it's playground equipment and picnic shelters inside of a completely enclosed fenced area making it much safer for little ones who may not yet know to stay out of the street.  

Burrowing Owl Park

Burrowing Owl Park in Greenacres is located just north of 10th Avenue in eastern Greenacres.  This central Palm Beach county park is located near a pretty developed retail area with plenty of homes nearby.  The popular eateries of Tacos Al Carbon and Cici's Pizza are located within a short drive of the park so you can easily grab a bite to eat to enjoy at the park's picnic areas.  In addition to the tree-shaded lighted playground area, Burrowing Owl Park also has a huge open area for kids to run about freely.

Bowman Park

Bowman Park is a wonderful wooded park with paved paths and plenty of parking in the town of Greenacres just off Haverhill road.  On the boundaries of the park are a Pentacostal Church, a veterinary hospital and, near the entrance on Bowman Street, a Moose Lodge.  This neighborhood park features a lovely shaded playground area, two lighted basketball courts and a huge open field.  The field is great for a quick friendly game of soccer or football or flying a kite since it is flat and open.

Rambo Park

Rambo Park in Greenacres is a small 2 acre park with just the right amount of amenities to keep the family busy with plenty of opportunities for recreation.  Bring along a picnic and a frisbee or just let the kids clamber around on the playground equipment.  Fun is easy at this park with it's wide open green space and shade areas.  If you like the thrill of competition, bring along your tennis equipment or a basketball for some one on one bonding with your loved ones.  The courts are lit so you can play until you finally win!

A.D. Barnes Park

Barnes Park is exactly where you need to be.  This 65-acres oasis is located in one of the busiest areas in the Miami Dade County in Florida. Fruit & Spice Park

The Fruit and Spice Park is a botanical garden in Redland, an agricultural community in Miami-Dade County. The main attraction here are the numerous varieties of tropical fruits grown right on site.  Enjoy learning about the 150 kinds of mangoes, 75 types of bananas, and over 40 types of grapes as well as a plethora of less familiar fruits (like Mangosteen and Dragon Fruit). The park primarily consists of varieties of fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, and nuts.

Lindsay Ewing Park

Lindsay Ewing Park is a beautiful multipurpose park which lies on 3-acres of land in Royal Palm Beach.  If you are a visitor or just a local who has no idea where its located, you can head south on Royal Palm Beach from Okeechobee Blvd and turn left on Sparrow Dr.
