Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex

Body

The Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex is in a very picturesque spot surrounded by the ocean and the gorgeous Fort Lauderdale coastline with it's yachts and decadent condominium buildings.  The center is just a couple of blocks south of the famed Las Olas Blvd squeezed between the intracoastal waters and the ocean.  The Aquatic Complex is home to international swimming and diving competitions.  Olympians frequent the pool. Please be aware that with over 100 swim events each year that the pool may be closed so call ahead.

Public diving on the 1 and 3 meter springboards is allowed daily midday for a couple of hours. Children under the age of 12 must have an adult present to be allowed to die. The dive well is heated to about 82 degrees. There is also public access to the the large heated Lap Pool of 50 meter and 25yard length lanes.  Age restrictions on this pool also require a parent to be present for children under 12.  Fees for access to the complex vary depending on residency.  Parking fees also are in place at hourly rates.

The Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex offers programming for the entire family from swim teams and dive teams to swimming lessons for the littlest tots to adults. Looking for something different to spice up your exercise routine?  Try a Water Aerobics class. Maybe the next time a birthday rolls around consider bringing your little fish to the Aquatics Complex for a fun Pool Party. Contact the Complex for pricing for their programs and pool rentals.
