Earth Day at Tradewinds Park

Saturday, April 9th, Earth Day at Tradewinds Park will offer a variety of family activities, including hayrides, vendor and educational booths, model steam train rides, bounce houses, farm tours and demos, refreshments, and more. Families with a green thumb or aspiring gardners can meet with Master Gardners for demos and lectures.  Join in on a natural history tour or nature hike, ogle classic cars in the car show, and fill your belly at the food trucks. This will be an Earth Day to remember and a great way to expose the kids to our Florida flora and dauna.

Daggerwing Earth Day

Visit Daggerwing Nature Center to celebrate Earth Day!  The theme is “Save the Planet-Save the Parks.”  By starting near home and in local parks, learn how to help make little differences that when added together can change the world. There will be guided nature walks, kid’s crafts, animal encounters and feedings, exhibitors, raffles, animal naming contest, and the popular ladybug release and much more. *Some optional activities may have a nominal fee.  Buy a ticket for a chance to win a BB-8 phone controlled robot!

Earth Day Festival

The Earth Day Festival is a family friendly annual event held at Pinecrest Gardens. The purpose of this event is to celebrate our amazing planet and shed light on the importance of keeping our envrionment clean. This fun filled day will feature eco-friendly activities, entertainment on stage at their outdoor amphitheater, animal exhibits, interactive educational workshops, botanical garden tours, music, food and much more.
