Abacoa Town Center is a very popular neighbourhood destination in the city of Jupiter in South Florida. The annual Fiesta Maya is held here which began in 2002. This festival is based on the traditions of the Guatemala town of Jacaltenango which sees the participation of the students from Florida Atlantic University and the local Jacaltec Community. Each of the 17 neighbourhoods in Abacoa has a unique style of architecture which is beautiful to look at. The neighbourhoods boast commercial spaces and residences and each has a unique character that helps to separate one from another.
The famous Roger Dean Stadium is located in the vicinity of the Town Center part of the community and it houses an open air street with many world class restaurants that offers delectable cuisine. The stadium is designed with a green aluminium roof and cream stucco and this style is very similar to that of other buildings in Abacoa. The other notable places in the Abacoa Town Center include Scripps Research Institute, Florida Atlantic University and a number of high-end residential communities.
This place may not feature in many travel guides but you should come here along with your family and friends to explore the wide array of restaurants and the exhilarating shopping experience. There is so much to do here during a weekend that you may not want to leave this place at all!
