With an incredible number of horses the center takes pride in being a hunter/jumper training facility that caters to all levels of riders from first timers to “AA” circuit competitors. This makes it ideal for families visiting the center since it also offers boarding amenities.
With professional trainers, the center offers training that focuses on the welfare of the horse and success of the trainee. Interactive programs, including summer camps, are offered to trainees’ to aid them in enhancing their individual goals. Miami equestrian also offers riders with the opportunity to compete in monthly heritage horse shows at prestigious rated shows such as WEF (Winter Equestrian Festival), the HITS (horse shows in the sun), Fox Lea and also at the plantation horse park.
The summer camp is one of the most renowned in Miami-Dade County. On average the facility hosts approximately twenty children weekly. This provides a chance for children who have in-depth passion for horses, but are caught up by school schedules, a chance to experience the joy that comes with owning a horse and the responsibilities that come with it during that week. The program also engages children in constructive fun games on horseback riding and water balloon fights keeping them cool under the hot south Florida summer heat.
