Carver Square Park

The Community Redevelopment Agency in 2009 was able to take this area of land to create this park in Delray Beach.  This community park has play equipment, some benches and bicycle parking.  Located close to Linton Blvd and east of I-95, this park is conveniently located to the food and shopping near Linton Blvd.

Lakeview Park

Lakeview Park in Delray Beach is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood just across Lake Ida from the Lake Ida Dog Park.  This small park has a newer playground area, picnic pavilions, boat ramp and restrooms. The waterside location makes it a picturesque spot for picnics or family gatherings.  There is a small dock next to boatslip which is great for skipping rocks or fishing. The pavilions are available for exclusive rental.

Thompson River Linear Park

Thompson River Linear Park is connected to Plant Drive and Lilac Parks nearby.  This is a pleasant waterside park with a walking/jogging trail, canoe access and a fishing area. Opportunities for a leisurely sit on shaded benches to read or people watch are available.

Betty Thomas Park

This is designated by the city of Boynton Beach as a  "neighborhood" park.  The park is situated in a residential neighborhood and has limited parking.  The best way to find it is to take Seacrest Blvd south of Woolbright to SE 28th Ave. Go east on 28th it forks into 28th Ct and 28th Ave. Doesn't matter which one you take, just keep going east to SE 2nd and then turn left (north) on 2nd and you'll see it on your right. This is a relatively new park that was dedicated in 2007. The park is open from sunrise to 9pm.

Cornell Park

Nicely landscaped small community park tucked away just north of Lake Ida Road and west of Swinton in Delray Beach. Bring the kids by with their ball or bike to get some unstructured play time. Nice open field and paved path to enjoy. The park consists mostly of walking trail and open space to play. This park is also dog friendly but not fenced. Park hours are 8:00 am to Dusk.

Mike Machek Boy Scout Park

The Mike Machek Boy Scout Park was completely renovated as part of the 24 million dollar Parks, Recreation and Cultural Bond referendum voted on, on January 20, 2004. The Park is a little less than 5 acres and includes a playground, picnic pavilion and tables, fitness trail, bathrooms, water fountain and barbecue grills.  The play areas have a minimal barrier btween it and Lake Ida road which can be heavily trafficked at certain hours of the day. Located between Trinity Lutheran School/Church and SD Spady Elementary School.

Barton Memorial Park

Not many parks you visit used to be a graveyard! Barton Memorial Park in Boynton Beach still has some old graves (most were relocated to another local cemetary in order to make this a park). Why move graves? I-95.  In order to make room for the highway they needed to clear the cemetary.  The land was leased from the Florida Department of Transportation by the City starting in 1978. The park consists of 6.4 acres.   There is a nature trail and open play area for recreation on site.

Anchor Park

Anchor Park is a beautiful park with playground, restrooms, outdoor showers, open play area, and picnic tables with barbecues. Lots of metered parking. This park is not well known except by a few locals and folks in the surrounding neighborhood. The beach is top-notch and guarded. Kids enjoy the semi-shaded play equipment.The "anchor" at Anchor Park is a little monument close to A1A. The Ocean Rescue Headquarters are on site.

Lake Ida Dog Park and Lake Ida West

This 189+ acre (including water acreage) park is run by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. It has been equipped with brand new fully-accessible play equipment over artificial turf surrounded by a large field, pavilions, and a bathroom. The area for dogs is separate and fenced. There's a nice path along the lake perfect for a stroll or bike ride. There is ample parking for both cars and boats.  The boat ramp and freshwater fishing pier are located in the middle of the park.

Ezell Hester, Jr. Community Park

Serving the east Boynton Beach community, The Ezell Hester Jr Community Park has a bright fun playground, basketball courts, tennis, raquetball, nature trail, football, cricket, baseball, a recreation center with programming, gazebo, pavilions, and much more. Right on Seacrest Blvd you can't miss the park.
