In an area of 10 acres, ArtsPark at Young Circle in Hollywood presents a spectacular fountain feature found in an attractive garden well covered with healthy grass and plants.  Well-paved promenades for children to play and people to jog around surround the area.  Spend your day and enjoy all sorts of festivities and cultural events that take place at the park throughout the year. The park is located in a circular area between US1 and Hollywood Boulevard towards the center of Hollywood in Florida.

Young at Art Museum

Take your budding artist on a creative odyssey through the Young At Art Museum in Davie just west of Fort Lauderdale region. The museum focuses in on helping young children discover and indulge in their creative sides.  They firmly believe that creative expression is part of the well rounded education of a child.  Children are enticed and encouraged to create their own masterpieces as they jouney through each of the interactive exhibits in the museum.

Pines Ice Arena

Pines Ice Arena in Pembroke Pines is located just west of Flamingo Road in Broward County.  This ice skating rink has public skating times daily as well as times for private lessons.  They offer programs for figure skating from beginner to advanced and frequently host competitions and events. Have a future hockey star in your family?  Pines Ice has youth and adult hockey programs available.  Times and prices vary for public skating depending on the day and time.

Kabooms Amusement & Party Center

Kabooms Amusement and Party Center located in western Broward county in the city of Davie offers entertainment for kids and adults.  This indoor amusement facility features bounce houses, laser tag, a new arcade and roller skating.  Online specials and packages for activities and tokens can usually be found on their website.  Kid-friendly food choices are available for purchase as well as adult-friendly fizzy beverages.

Hollywood Parasail

Come out for a high-flying and fun adventure on Hollywood Beach with Hollywood Parasail in Broward county.  Their certified captains will take you on an exhilarating "flight" and let you take dips in the ocean to stay cool.  You may also opt to stay completely dry on your ride.  Parasailing requires no experience and all that you need is provided by Hollywood Parasail.  You can even go up barefoot!  Parasailing is for people aged 5 years old and up.  You may ride solo or double up.

Charnow Park

Charnow Park on Hollywood Beach is located just north of Hollywood Blvd along the shore.  This beachfront park is part of the wonderful Hollywood Beach broadwalk popular among locals and tourists alike.  Children can get the best of both worlds by visiting Charnow  Park.  They can play in the waves and sand or come over to the park and play in the fresh water splash park amongst the tiled dolphins!  When they dry off they can play on the playground equipment.

Anne Kolb Nature Center & West Lake Park

Anne Kolb Nature Center and West Lake Park are located in southern Broward in the town of Hollywood on the north and south side of Sheridan Street. This popular nature center features trails, amphitheater, exhibits and a 68-foot observation tower. The exhibit hall has an entrance fee but the trails around the nature center are free. The trails include a fishing trail (catch & release is encouraged and a permit required), the Mudflat Trail, the South Trail (gravel) and the Lake Trail.

Hollywood North Beach Park & Dog Beach

Hollywood North Beach Park is located at Sheridan and A1A (North Ocean Drive) in Broward County.   This popular 56-acre park features over a mile of shoreline to enjoy on the Atlantic Ocean, a 60-ft observation tower, pier fishing on the Intracoastal, Turtle Cafe with beachside refreshments and a handicap accessible raised boardwalk.  The park has several picnic areas with grills and tables all available on the Intracoastal side of the park in the Leatherback, Green, Kemp's Riley, and Hawksbill pocket parks.
