July Fourth Delray
The place to be for the 4th of July is in Delray Beach. Be HOT HERE at Delray Beach’s coolest event of the year, the July 4th Celebration. Sun, sand, art and music are all topped off at the end of the evening by a spectacular Zambelli fireworks show. The fireworks will be one of the largest and longest shows in South Florida launching right off the beach.

Pompano Beach Seafood Festival
The 33rd Annual Pompano Beach Seafood Festival not only offers the picturesque backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean at the Pompano Beach Pier but also lots and lots of delectable seafood to try. The Pompano Beachfront has recently been refurbished and is now open to serve as a great venue for community events. The Festival will include a wide variety of live entertainment including Reggae, Contemporary Country, R & B and much more. Kids will enjoy the “Pompano Jack’s Fun Zone” at the south end of the boardwalk.

Creatures of the Night Hike
Greynolds Park in North Miami offers wonderful night hikes during the cooler months. Join them at the historic Boathouse and take an hour and a half journey into the nocturnal beauty of the park and its critters. Take in the beauty of the night sky or watch glow bugs shine in the night. See what lurks about in the night when things quiet down and the people leave. Campfire & Night Hike
Join the folks at the Arch Creek Museum & Nature Center in North Miami for an exciting and educational night hike and camp fire. See the beautiful tropical hardwood hammock and its critters as they settle in for the night. Spiders, raccoons, eastern screech owls and more can be spotted on the hike. Afterwards, gather around the campfire to roast marshamallows together to enjoy while you hear the sounds of the hammock at night. The event runs for an hour and a half.

Great American Beach Party
The Annual Great American Beach Party returns on Saturday, May 27 to Fort Lauderdale Beach near A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. This free family-friendly event features live performances, a sand castle contest, kids zone, family beach games, classic cars, a DJ, art and a movie on the beach. Most importantly, there will be a military tribute! See who gets inducted into Fort Lauderdale’s very own Walk of Fame.
