Save the Tiger 5k

This will be a Memorial run for Stacey Konwiser.

Fewer than 250 Malayan Tigers are estimated to be left in the world.  The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is very active in the Malayan Tiger Species Survival Plan, working with other accredited zoos to manage the population, protect habitat and stop poaching activities. To help support these efforts, we're hosting our 4th annual Palm Beach Zoo Save the Tiger 5k” run on May 14, 2016.  This unique run winds through lush and hilly Dreher Park and finishes in the spectacular Fountain Plaza inside the Zoo!   Your participation contributes to tiger conservation through our partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) at Endau-Rompin National Park in Malaysia.

The first 650 runners registered get a free t-shirt!   Your registration includes admission to the Zoo for the day and discount coupons for friends and family to see you finish and explore the Zoo for the day.

This is a chip-timed, USATF sacntioned run.  No strollers, rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles, etc. will be permitted.  Event occurs rain or shine, no refunds.
