Lake Worth Veteran's Day Parade

The city of Lake Worth would like to honor all Veterans in times of Peace and in times of War at their annual Veteran's Day Parade & Ceremony.  The parade begins at 11:00 am down Lake Avenue.  It will end at the Cultural Plaza where a special Veteran's Day ceremony will be held at around 1:30 pm.  Bring your own seating or blanket to watch the events as well as wear your patriotic clothing!  

Key West Veteran's Day Parade

Key West knows how to have a parade and Veteran's Day is no exception.  Be sure to celebrate American's veterans this year at the annual Key West Veteran's Day Parade - Saturday, November 10th at 5:00p.m.   The Veterans Day Parade will travel down Duval Street, with a reviewing stand near Fleming and Duval. Starts at Catherine Street and travels down Duval Street to Front Street. Everyone is welcome to come cheer on the marching units and pay tribute to service members past and present.

Palm Beach County Veteran's Day Parade

Join the City of West Palm Beach and the Palm Beach County Veterans Committee and their sponsors in honoring American Veteran's this year.  This annual event will take place on Sunday November 8th in downtown West Palm Beach. The 2015 Veterans Day Parade will travel down Clematis Street starting at 2pm.  Parking at all city garages will be FREE for this event. The parade will include local veterans groups, floats, bands, military vehicles and more!

Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade

Don't miss this dazzling display of lights along the Fort Lauderdale waterways.  Watch it live along the banks or on television (Channel 7, WSVN) in the comfort of your own home.  It's the "Greatest Show on H2O" with spectacular boats and celebrity appearances.  The 2015 Winterfest Boat Parade Grand Marshal will be Nick Cannon.  You can purchase tickets for your family in the Grandstand at Birch State Park through Seminole Hardrock Casino, select Pet Supermarkets or on the Winterfest website.

Open Streets Fort Lauderdale

Grab your bikes, skates, friends, and family and join in the Open Streets Fort Lauderdale and Winterfest Family Fun Day.  One of Fort Lauderdale's main thoroughfares will be transformed into a playground to create space for people to walk, bike, dance, and play…without cars. This free event will include kid’s activities, a bike rodeo, dancing, a farmer’s market, a street hockey rink with the Florida Panthers, and much more. 

Hollywood Beach Candy Cane Parade

Hollywood Beach Candy Cane Parade celebrates it's 61st year in 2016.  The parade is scheduled to roll down the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 7pm.   Celebrate the holidays with lively music and dance performed by local community bands and groups.  See Santa and enjoy the fresh sea breeze as the floats and vehicles parade oceanside.

Trick or Treat on Second Street

Trick-or-Treat on Second Street in Fort Lauderdale at Esplanade Park on Saturday, October 31 from 1:00-5:00 PM.  Your family can enjoy a free spooktacular event with bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, yummy Halloween treats, a kid and pet costume parade, and more!  This is a great event to have a not-so-scary Halloween and still get home in time to host your neighborhood's trick or treaters in the evening!

Toys in the Sun Run

On Sunday, December 4, 2016, more than 30,000 motorcyclists and double that amount of people are expected to take part in the “29th Annual South Florida President’s Council (SFPC) Toys in the Sun Run” presented by the Mardi Gras Casino. Proceeds benefit the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation, Hollywood, Florida. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is one of the area’s leading pediatric care hospitals, offering comprehensive health services and programs in an atmosphere that is child-friendly.
