Parents Night Out Game Night

Drop off your children in a safe comfortable environment and take the night off without the kids.  Enjoy an evening to have dinner and see a movie, shop, spend time with friends, or just stay home and relax.  You deserve this opportunity so do not miss out and register now.  Your kids will thank you as well.

 

Children will have pizza, drinks and chess cookies throughout the evening.  There will be a variety of games and activities such as Chess, Variations of Chess, Monopoly, Scattergories, Battleship, Deal or No Deal, Life, Mancala, Twister, Bannana Grams, Cards, Legos, Coloring, Art Contest and More.  Free raffle is included.

 

This is for ages 5 and up.  Children do not need to know how to play chess, just come and enjoy the evening and play all different games and meet new friends.

 

For those who are interested chess.  The wonderful game of chess does have many benefits such as Creativity, Concentration, Discipline, Improves Memory, Time Management, Critical Thinking, Social Skills, Sportsmanship, Logical Reasoning,  Decision Making, Learning from mistakes, and more.

The Stormont Kings Chess Program is an affiliate of the United States Chess Federation (USCF).  Chris Stormont, President and Founder has been teaching chess since 1991.  His Father taught him to play when he was nine years old, and the first chess club he joined was at South Miami Middle School.  From there the coach asked him to play in the chess tournament against West Miami Middle.  He did and tied for first place.
