Aquapark at Jungle Island

Just through the summer come out and SPLASH at Jungle Island in Miami at their newly created Parrot Cove beach.  This once open parcel of land at the tip of Jungle Island has been transformed into a tropical beach exclusive to Jungle Island visitors.  Access to Parrot Cove is about $5 more if purchased with your park entrance fees so bring your towel, sunblock, and swimwear so you can cool off between all the exciting animal shows.  Sit back in one of the many lounge chairs or under some over-sized umbrellas while enjoying gorgeous views of Biscayne Bay & downtown Miami.   Cabanas are also available.

Children ages 3 to 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult.  All children are required to wear a life vest.  The water is about 15 feet deep.  Lifeguards are posted all around the inflatable.

For water adventurers, Parrot Cove also boasts top-of-the-line Wibit equipment that floats on the bay.  For unlimited access to this water playground a daily fee of $15 per person is charged in addition if using a discount pass for entrance.  Make a splash on the massive Sports Park 60, which consists of balance beams, action tower, trampoline, bridge, cliff, high jump, catapult, slide and swing. The IceTower climbing wall will give even the most gifted climbers a test of strength and endurance. While sports enthusiasts can try their hand at playing volleyball from a floating court.   If you dare, try out the Aquajet packs that send you shooting through the air ($199 per person for 20 minutes).

There is a nominal fee to use umbrellas, cabanas and the water play activities. For guests’ safety, Jungle Island limits the aqua park to 60 people per hour.  Please CALL AHEAD to make sure this is open later in the season.  The water park is closed when jellyfish season starts!
