Every third Thursday ArtWalks will be held every month throughout the year, offering live music in different locations, performance artists and community fun. This monthly event has become a focal point of movement bringing cultural awareness to the Upper Keys. The Art District busines are open during these evenings for an indoor/outdoor street festival all focused on local Art.  This half-mile stroll between the historic Hurricane Monument and the Green Turtle Inn includes the intersection of Morada Way, hence the name! 

Are you a University of Miami Hurricane's fan?  Do you love fishing and a great charity like Habitat for Humanity?  The 7th Annual Celebrity Dolphin Fishing Tournament in Islamorada will be a memorable 2 day star-studded sporting event. Come out and fish with your Canes All-star players. The activities will be held at the Islamorada Founders Park, MM 87 B/S and Coconut Cove Resort and Marina, MM 85 O/S.  For the 2017 event: Hall of Famer TED HENDRICKS will be participating.

Battle in the Bay Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Sombrero Beach in Marathon on May 14th!  Come and enjoy the spectacle of these long Dragon boats with both corporate and community teams at the helm.  There will also be competitors from recreational and professional "club" teams from the Southeastern United States.  This annual event allows for just about ANYONE to participate. 

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Key West will be hosting a family-friendly fishing tournament for people of all ages.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event benefit local disabled veterans.  Registration can be completed from now until the 6pm Captains Meeting on June 9th (held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Key West VFW, 2200,N. Roosevelt Blvd)

Bring your family out to the exciting Dragon Boat Festival (龍 船 賽) held at the Miami Haulover Beach Park MARINA.  This national festival traces its history back to China over 200 years ago. Dragon Boat racing is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Come see what all of the excitement is about and snap photos of the ornate boats.

On Tuesday November 27th Las Olas Boulevard will transform into an urban winter wonderland and celebrate its 56th year creating holiday magic in downtown Fort Lauderdale!!   Christmas on Las Olas is a timeless tradition and a wonderful kick-off to the holiday season that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Learn about one of our native cultures in Florida at the Miccosukee  Resort & Gaming facility in south Miami. The Miccosukee Indian Tribe invites you to its FREE "Celebrate American Indian Day" celebration.  Come and observe, learn about, and share the heritage, way of life and customs of the Miccosukees and Native American Tribes throughout the country.

The 15th Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in Florida will be held in the city of Sunrise at Markham Park.  This all day event on November 13, 2016 will feature a mix of professional chefs and aspiring amateurs, foodies, music lovers, dance aficionados, and cultural enthusiasts in the most anticipated event of the year!  Watch as Chefs of all distinction compete for cash and the coveted Dutch Pot Trophy in the Publix Jerk Cook-off.

PERUFEST USA is a Mega gastronomic event taking place at the Miami Dade Fair & Exposition Center on October 1 and 2 of 2016. Their hope is to invite you into a culture with more than 500 years of fusion with the World around it.  This celebration hopes to be a major foodie gathering for the Peruvian culture with a showcase of flavors, aromas and diverse cooking techniques. Come to learn, exchange ideas and see why Peruvian food is some of the best worldwide!

Florida Keys Celtic Festival in Marathon is an exciting event not to missed. The event is located at mile marker 49 on US Hwy 1 on the ocean side. Choose to come out for 1 or both days of the festival to enjoy lots of live entertainment, food and fun for the kids. This year there will be Celtic bands, Highland Athletics demonstrations, Pipes & Drums, Celtic food & beer as well as lots of neat Celtic merchandise for sale. Your kids will also enjoy the Children's Glen filled with activities just for them.
