The ladies of the Mommy Project will be hosting their 1st annual Back to School Bash on August 7th, 2016 from 2-7pm in conjunction with the "505" Teen Center in Delray Beach. All ages are welcome.  ***DATE CHANGED to August 13th***



They will have backpacks filled with school supplies, free haircuts for the 1st 200 kids and hairstyles, free food, cotton candy, snow cone, and popcorn machines, face painting, arts and crafts, bounce houses, video games, and a basketball tournament!

Mark your calendar and rally together for the first time ever in South Florida — the inaugural Teal 5K RUN/ FUN WALK - Stride Against Ovarian & Gynecologic Cancer on September 24th, 2016 at C. B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

NFL Alumni Max Jean-Gilles has teamed up with Jemmy Jasmin and the Stars of Tommorrow Foundation, the City of North Miami Beach, Fish Grease Restaurant, and SouthPromo.com to host the 6th Annual HangOut Day NFL Youth Football & Cheerleading Camp, a Free event being held at the Allen Deleonardis Youth Center located at 1770 NE 162nd Street on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 8AM – 3PM.

Be a part of the International Coastal Clean-up on Saturday, September 17th!  Register to cleanup with the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. The first 100 to fill out the registration form and bring it to the clean-up will receive a Free T-Shirt!

Please bring your own bucket and garden or kitchen gloves. LMC will have bags and gloves available but they are trying to eliminate their use in the clean ups. The goal is to become a completely “green” or, in this case, “blue” beach clean up group.

Join the Loggerhead Marine Life Center for their Kid's Pier Fishing Program on July 23rd from 8 am at the Juno fishing pier.  Participants will learn basic techniques for fishing from both a beach and a fishing pier including knot tying, casting, species identification, and proper release protocols. In addition to fishing skills, participants will learn to be ethical anglers. Limited space available.

Do you want to watch as adorable hatchling sea turtles waddle their way to the open ocean?  Join the Loggerhead Marine Life Center as they release hatchlings on select evenings this August.  The program begins with an exclusive, behind-the-gate tour to meet our current sea turtle patients, followed by a presentation and ends with a trip to the beach to see LMC staff release sea turtle hatchlings into the ocean.  This is a memorable and informative opportunity for families to be apart of this magical experience.

After five battle years, the BBQ Grills will fire up again for the 6th Annual Boca Burger Battle Competition on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 in Sanborn Square Park in downtown Boca Raton. The hand-picked team of Top Chefs are incredibly adventurous at creating secret recipes as preparations for the Boca Burger Battle, A Grilling Affair! returns for the sixth year.

Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center for their Summer Beach Bash Clean Up & Happy Hour sponsored by Tommy Bahama!  Meet at the LMC back deck for registration at 5pm and then head over to clean the beach. Following the clean up we will enjoy beverages and bites on the deck. Bring your bucket for a chance to win a prize. In the event of rain we will still socialize!
