The 19th Annual Taste of the Islands event will be held in Marathon on November 12th from 11am to 5pm.  Taste of the Islands is an annual fundraiser for BPW (Business & Professional Women of Marathon) The event showcases local food, art, & entertainment. Hosted by the Marathon chapter of Business and Professional Women, the award-winning event draws several thousand attendees and features local restaurants, live entertainment, vendors and artists, a tribute to veterans, fashion show by DK's Style Hut, activities for kids plus live and Chinese auctions.

The ninth annual “Reason to Run” 5K run/walk and family event benefitting CancerFree KIDS Pediatric Cancer Research Alliance will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the Deering Estate, 16701 S.W. 72 Avenue, Miami at 8 a.m. On-site registration and check-in will begin at 7 a.m. The registration fee is $30 for adults before October 28. The fee increases to $40 thereafter.

Beach Bash Palm Beach, presented by Lilly Pulitzer is the social highlight of the season! More than 600 guests will descend upon the posh Beach Club on the island which made Lilly Pulitzer an iconic resort wear brand. Decked in their brightest Lilly, guests will celebrate “Life Under Printed Palms” while enjoying fabulous fashion, colorful cocktails, delectable bites and pulse-quickening entertainment while mixing with young philanthropic leaders from around the globe.

This is a charity event for an amazing local organization, Bit by Bit Therapy. They provide an incredible amount of help to disabled children and veterans.

Eighth Annual Go Blue Awards at the PGA National Resort and Spa will be held on October 28th from 11 am – 1:30 pm. This is a premiere ocean conservation event that will recognize businesses, non-profits and individuals who have promoted, implemented, or contributed to a "Blue" lifestyle of marine conservation. Awards will be given to those who are leading the way in raising awareness and have made significant contributions to improve and protect our oceans, beaches and wildlife.

Fort Lauderdale’s most eclectic water taxi company, the Fort Lauderdale Water Shuttle, known for its hot pink boats adorned with pink flamingos, is utilizing its “pink” presence to help a Fort Lauderdale-based nonprofit kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Water Shuttle will host “Boating for Breast Cancer” on Saturday, October 1, 2016 and donate 100 percent of daily ticket sales to Gilda’s Club South Florida!

Strut your stuff and help stamp out Breat Cancer at this Annual Fort Lauderdale event held at Esplanade Park.  

The Strut is the sassiest CHARITY STRUT to hit the streets of South Florida.

First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale will kick off its fall season of programming with a free event featuring informational booths from the Church’s ministries and programs, and family-friendly activities including crafts, face painting, a balloon artist, petting zoo and cotton candy! Rally Day activities begin at 10:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. In addition, all are invited to attend special worship services including communion, choir performances, and complimentary refreshments. Worship services will be held at 8:30 a.m.

St. Jude's Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer will be held on September 24th, 2016  in Palm Beach county at John Prince Park in Lake Worth.
