The Bill Sadowski Park & Nature Center  in Miami is the ideal family location for nature enthusiasts. This is a lovely, 30 acre park that encompasses all the natural beauty and wildlife of South Florida. This park is a three habitat park that has natural pinelands, a tropical hardwood hammock and drained Everglades slough. The main nature center building is home to an animal exhibit with live native and non-native wetland animals that can be found in South Florida.Their is an 822 gallon freshwater aquarium that displays live fish caught from the shores of the canal near the park. There are many nature study programs and guided tours that are available to families, small groups and field trips. You will see families fishing, canoeing and relaxing along the lovely canal, or hiking and bird watching and the nature trails and through the natural tree arboretum.
