Sunflower Creative Arts' Seedlings Preschool is a play-based learning environment that nurtures imagination, science and nature exploration, arts expression and literacy. Preschool for ages 3-6. Activities at the open house: See our warm and welcoming classrooms, run up and down the hills in the nature playground, take a nibble from our learning garden and create a nature art sculpture in our outdoor classroom.

 

2017 will bring a much more low key event to Coral Gables.  There is no plan for a helicopter egg drop this year.  This year there will be TRADITIONAL egg hunt events at the same 5 locations as 2016.  Egg hunts at War Memorial Youth Center. Special 0-3 years old hunt at 10:30 a.m.

The Mall of the Americas in Miami will be having their annual Easter Celebration on March 26th, 2016.   Families can meet the Easter Bunny,  enjoy festive music from MIX 98.3, partake in a bunny petting area and a raffle prize drawing where one lucky winner will receive a grand prize vacation for two to Key West! (No purchase necessary to enter. Must be present during the drawing to win.).  Arts & crafts as well as face painting will be available free of charge.

Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach will be having special events ON Easter Sunday for families at their Cool Corner Family Bistro.  They will have 3 Egg Hunts at 12, 3 and 6pm.  Be sure to catch the Easter Bunny at 5 pm and Peter Pan with Tinker Bell.  Great photo opportunities will be available as well as a live show!  Games and activities for the children will be on hand as well as yummy treats!

From Generation to Generation is a heart-warming musical that tells the story of Rose Lieberman, a very charming and lovable Jewish wom-an who wants to leave a lasting legacy for her unborn granddaughter. With encouragement from her rabbi, she decides that she will leave an “ethical will” for her granddaughter. Rose creatively records many tapes and videos describing her life, with the help of her friends and family. 

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts will host its annual Spring Marshmallow Drop Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Boulevard Heights Community Center in West Hollywood. This is a fun family event that includes an egg hunt, the dropping of over 30,000 marshmallows from a helicopter, a bounce house, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!  There's nothing else like this happening anywhere in South Florida.  Wow.

Parenting Plus magazine will present the 2016 Annual Palm Beach County Spring Kids Expo in West Palm Beach on May 7th from 10am to 4pm.  This Expo will have information about health & wellness, summer camps, safety, education, special needs services and so much more.  Come for all of the great information and stay for the FUN.   Kids can enjoy interactive activities, educational exhibits, character meet & greets, bounce houses, crafts, face painting, and puppet shows.  

Sentir Cuba is a three-day expo that will bring the rhythm, taste, and a celebration of the accomplishments of the Cuban people under one roof. Cuba is bigger than it's political situation; it represents more than what has been lived by its people. Cuba is passion, danzón, delicious food, rum, coffee, memories of El Malecón, and pride of our predecessors. Expo Sentir Cuba will be a three day celebration of the best of Cuban culture and will include live music, food, arts and crafts, and all kinds of products and services.

Miami Children’s Museum will open Voyage to Vietnam: Celebrating the Tet Festival on Saturday, January 30, 2016; a new traveling exhibition that explores Vietnamese culture. Children and their parents will delight in the opportunity to discover the beauty, sights and sounds of Vietnam through its most important celebration of the year, Tet.
