Spooky Snooze

Double, double, toil and trouble, are you brave enough to spend a night at the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society? Guests are invited for a special Halloween-themed “Spooky Snooze Family Overnight at the Zoo,” on October 15, 2016, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. Participants can enjoy an evening of pumpkin painting, crafts, night-time tours and a pizza snack. The next morning, guests will have a continental breakfast and an animal activity.

Cost per participant is $35 for Zoo members, and $40 for non-members. The program can be reserved for scout or community groups. Activities are geared for children six years old and and older, so “mummies” and/or daddies must attend.

You should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, air mattresses or cots (able to bring but not necessary), sleeping pad (the floor can be hard!), flashlight, bug repellent lotion, camera and a change of clothes. What should I not bring? Please do not bring portable electronics, or anything that you cannot carry. Outside food is not recommended; an evening pizza snack and continental breakfast will be provided.

Overnight participants usually sleep in the Pioneer House in the Florida section of the zoo. Sleeping location may be changed by the overnight facilitator only. Sleeping areas have electrical outlets available but do not have airconditioning. Shower facilities are not available. Sleeping areas are not completely screened in.

Scouts and community groups can book a private Spooky Snooze Overnight at the Zoo program during weekends in October, other than October 15th.

$40 for Members $50 for Non-Members (Adults must accompany children. This program is designed for children ages 6 and over.)
