R. G. Kreusler Park Beach

Kreusler Park on Palm Beach Island features about 450 feet of guarded shoreline.  Fishing is allowed outside of the guarded swimming area.  No dogs are allowed at County beaches. Restroom facilities and showers are available as well as surf-chairs for the handicapped.  There is a fee for parking.

Nancy M. Graham Centennial Square Park Fountains

The Centennial Fountain, located in Centennial Square at the south end of Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach, can accommodate up to 100 people.  Groups may request permits to use the fountain area for a two hour period for $25/resident & $35/non-resident.   Permits do not provide exclusive use of fountain or wet play areas.  This plaza includes benches, tables and chairs, as well as an interactive fountain that is a popular site for children’s play. Street -side parking and garage parking is available nearby.

Howard Park Community Center

Howard Park Community Center in West Palm Beach is located off Parker Avenue.  It has the CityPaws Dog Park, 2 playground, swings, a tennis center and sports fields.  The Community Center and pavillions may be rented for private events.  Classes and other programming are offered at the community center.  The Tennis center is located adjacent to the Palm Beach County Convention Center off Okeechobee Blvd and Parker.  Just to the south is the community center, dog park, and the sports field.

Gaines Park & Warren Hawkins Aquatic Center

Gaines Park located in West Palm Beach off N. Australian Avenue consists of a community center, sports fields, aquatic center, outdoor stage, tennis center and the Adventure Island playground.  Gaines Park was named after West Palm Beach's first African American Recreation Department and is the city's largest regional park at 56+ acres.  The community center and the pavillions may be rented for private events and parties.  The park is open daily except Sundays.  The hours of the aquatic center and tennis center need to be confirmed before visiting.

Phipps Skate Park

Phipps Skate Park in West Palm Beach features about 23,000 square feet of a concrete base surface with metal ramps and decks made with Skate-Lite Pro skating surface.  Helmets with a functioning strap are mandatory (rentals available) and a waiver must be on file for all park users. Waivers must be signed by a skater’s parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18.   Phipps Skate Park is located just south of Southern Blvd on the west side of Dixie Highway.

Lake Lytal Park & Family Aquatic Center

Lake Lytal Park in West Palm Beach is a 70 acres park and Family Aquatic Center. It features several sports fields and the fun pool with slides and splash playground. This popular and affordable public park is filled with many fun activities the entire family can enjoy. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and pool hours vary depending on the season. Lighted athletic fields are open until 10pm.

Northwest Park and Ball Fields

Northwest Park and Ball Fields are located in northwest Lake Worth just south of the West Palm Beach Golf Course.  The park consists of 5 different types of ball fields:  Lassie, Pony, Colt, Pinto and T-ball.  The use of the fields and scheduling are under the purview of Lake Worth Youth League, Lake Worth Girls Softball League, and Lake Worth High School.  

Sunset Ridge Park

Sunset Ridge Park in downtown Lake Worth is located in a residential area north of 10th Avenue between US 1 and I-95.  The park has ample parking on the northwest and southwest sides of the park accessed by North A and 15th Avenue.   There are five lighted tennis courts, with one in partial shade.  Playground equipment is also occaisionally in shade and children can run free or pick up a soccer game in the large multipurpose field.  Basketball courts are located in the center of the park near the tennis courts.

Phil Foster Park

Phil Foster Park is a 15+ acre park in Riviera Beach located just under the Blue Heron Blvd Bridge in Palm Beach County.  This park is most popular for it's snorkeling and scuba diving in the Lake Worth Lagoon aka the Intracoastal Waterways.  Just south of the bridge is a guarded swimming area that is well-marked.  No diving is allowed in that area.  The parking can be found north of the bridge along with the restrooms.
