John D. MacArthur Beach State Park

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, named after John D. MacArthur, is located between North Palm Beach and Riviera Beach in Florida. It is the only State Park in Palm Beach County and is located at the northern end of Singer Island. The park was opened to the public in 1989 and it covers 225 acres of land and 535 acres of submerged lands. There is a lake which can be crossed by a boardwalk which is 490m in length.

Lake Catherine Park

Small and serene park for nature lovers offers 0.5 mile jogging trail as well as a boat entry area. The park is located on the west side of MacArthur Boulevard just north of Northlake Boulevard. Plenty of beautiful green space to spread a blanket and picnic or throw the ball around with the kids.

Lake Catherine Sports Complex

Are you looking for a safe, local place for your children to play softball? The City of Palm Beach Gardens has a great sports complex for youth softball players. The Lake Catherine Sportsplex in Palm Beach Gardens is located at 9470 MacArthur Blvd. on the east side of MacArthur Blvd just north of Northlake Blvd in Palm Beach County.

Lake Catherine Park

Lake Catherine Park is located on east side MacArthur Boulevard just north of Northlake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens.  The picturesque lakeside half mile red dirt jogging trail takes a loop around this park. Plenty of shade trees are along the trail but there are spots without shade so be sure to be prepared. Right across the street is the Lake Catherine Sports complex with the all-important restroom facilities as well as play area and sports fields.

Oaks Park

Oaks Park in Palm Beach Gardens has a hard clay exercise jogging trail, large party pavilions, and some lighted tennis courts. Close to the Gardens Hospital and St. Mark's school, this is a small neighborhood park that is perfect for a little bit of outdoor recreation. It is almost 12 acres of park and the walking trail is mostly shaded.  Be aware that there are no restroom facilities.

Gardens Skate Park

Gardens Skate Park in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is the place to be for any skating enthusiast. This doesn’t mean that a beginner is not welcome. On the contrary, it is the ideal place to start. The park is situated within Plant Drive Park on a newly renovated 12,000 sq ft facility. It is a fun place for any family to spend the day. The park is open from 9am to 9pm in the evening.

Plant Drive Park

 The Plant Drive Park is located at the intersection of Plant Drive and Lilac Street. Take Military Trail to Lilac Street and turn south onto Plant Drive. The Park is on the right.  If you like a variety of sports, then this is your place! There are a couple of skate parks, batting cages, roller hockey, and basketball courts. Get out and enjoy our wonderful weather. Host a company baseball game and picnic here, get your buddies in a basketball "playoff" or let your pre-teen blow off steam in the skate park.

Phil Foster Park

Phil Foster Park is a 15+ acre park in Riviera Beach located just under the Blue Heron Blvd Bridge in Palm Beach County.  This park is most popular for it's snorkeling and scuba diving in the Lake Worth Lagoon aka the Intracoastal Waterways.  Just south of the bridge is a guarded swimming area that is well-marked.  No diving is allowed in that area.  The parking can be found north of the bridge along with the restrooms.

Lilac Park & Dog Run

Set back from the main drag of Military Trail in a suburban area of Palm Beach Gardens is the Lilac Park.  The park was completed in conjunction with the Palm Beach County School District for their needs but is open to the public.  Lilac Park has many new facilities.  The park features a new double-sized multipurpose field, playgrounds, 2 picnic pavilions,exercise trail and restroom facilities.  The Dog Park has a new “little dog” area exclusively for smaller breeds under 30 lbs.  The park also has a regulation size b
