Greynolds Park is located in northeast Miami-Dade county is west of Dixie Highway just south of Miami Gardens Drive (NE 185th St).  The park was formerly the site of a rock quarry and was donated to the county by the Ojus Rock Company back in 1936.  This 249-acre park is home to a variety of plants and animals that make their homes in the hammock and the protected mangrove habitats.  The park offers grade A recreation with it's par-36, nine-hole Greynolds Golf Course, playground, picnic shelters, two sand volleyball courts, historic Boathouse, campgrounds, trails and observation mound.   There is a bird rookery on the premises and a variety of bird and butterflies can be found on walks sponsored by the park staff including bat and owl walks.  Eco-Adventure tours are offered at this park as well, contact them to arrange an activity.

The Greynolds Park Boathouse offers kayak, canoe, and paddleboat rentals.  You can enjoy a leisurely paddle on the park's lagoon on weekends and holidays.   A food concession serves up refreshments and snacks. For those interested in learning about local history and wildlife, the boathouse features a nature exhibit and serves as the interpretive center where you can participate in guided nature walks, nighttime programs, campfires, and more.   

Camp Greynolds consists of a campsite which can be rented in its entirety by non-profit groups for a fee of $200/night.  This includes the nine cabins made of natural wood and stone with cushioned bunk beds,campfire ring, outdoor grills, dining hall with a fireplace and full kitchen, restrooms with showers as well as a canoe launch.  The only air conditioned area is in the dining hall.  Please note that the site may need to be booked up to a year in advance for cool weather months.  

The following day and night time activities may be scheduled through the park for your group to enjoy:  a  Guided Historical Nature Walk (45 minutes – 1 hour); Oleta River Canoe Trip (3 hrs);  Campfire Program (1.5 hrs) with Native American stories, marshmallows, and a visit to the archaeological site; and the Creatures of the Night Hike (1.5 hrs).

The park is open from sunrise to sunset.  Parking fees are received in CASH only (no bills greater than $20 accepted): $6 for cars and SUVs, $15 for buses, trucks or RVs.
