Milander Park in Hialeah is a 19+ acre park that consists of an aquatic center, football stadium, sports fields and a new venue.  The park, in addition to these big amenities, also provides recreation for multiple kinds of sporting activities.  Lighted sports fields help make this park an active destination even into the evening hours.  Milander has two lighted tennis courts, two lighted basketball courts, a lit softball field, and a lit baseball diamond.  The park also has a junior basketball court that is not lighted.

The brand new Milander Center is situated to be a hot spot for events in the Hialeah area.  This gorgeous new building has about 34,500 square feet to use for exhibits, special events, and performances.  This multi-purpose venue is both affoordable for rentals and is diverse enough for use in a variety of circumstances.

Ted Hendricks Football Stadium is a popular local venue with seating for 10,000 spectators.  It is the home football stadium to four local high schools: Hialeah Miami Lakes H.S., Hialeah H.S., Goleman H.S., Miami Springs High and American H.S.  During football season you can enjoy a good old American pastime and get in the spirit whether you are a student at one of those schools or not.  

The Milander Park Aquatic Center is located in the northeast area of the park.  It features a lifeguarded Olympic -size pool with slides.  Smaller children can enjoy a wet tot lot.  Bring sunscreen, swimdiapers (if needed), and a towel.
