Pelican Bay Community Park is a public facility situated in 764 Vanderbilt Beach Road, North Naples, Collier County Florida. It is known mainly as a tennis establishment. The park comprises of eight lighted clay tennis courts, four lighted racquetball courts, a lighted basketball court, two bocce courts, a lighted tot lot, softball and soccer fields, a walking trail system and a lake among its amenities.
The are no membership fees for entry into Pelican Bay Community Park in Naples Florida and also open to non residents of Naples. For tennis aficionados, the park offers tennis lessons and tournaments with seventeen active tennis players currently listed on the the Pelican Bay Community park. You will have automatic player matching service depending on your skill level and match history. You also receive points for every match you play and move up the rankings. There have been over 440 games played at the tennis courts here.
While entry to the park is free there is a fee charged to play at the tennis courts. The fee is charged per person per every one and half hours which is the length of a tennis match. Alternatively if you are a resident and play often you may opt to pay an annual membership fee. The annual fee can be paid per individual or as a couple. Private lessons are also available at a fee charged an hour or half an hour rate.
For you or family that are not into tennis the beach and the lake can be a good sport. The kids also get to have a fenced playground with swings and other fun activities. You can also enjoy other sports activities such as racquetball, soccer, basketball, volleyball and also take a walk along the trails or bring your bike along and ride around. The lots of open space also means its not crowded and you can enjoy a quiet moment if you so wish.
