Markham Park is located in western Broward in the area of Sunrise near the intersection of the Sawgrass Expressway and the Everglades Parkway.  This park has a per person entrance fee.

Markham has a 9-hole disc golf course, a campground, a dog park named Barkham at Markham (daily fee), airfield for remote controlled planes, mountain bike trails, playgrounds, and tennis/raquetball courts.  There are many shelters/pavilions of various sizes throughout the park that may be reserved for private events.

For water play, there is a boat marina with boats available to rent by the hour.  The boat rental service is seasonal, please check with the park to confirm.  The 26-acre lake in the park is open seasonally on weekends and holidays from mid-March through the end of October for motorized personal watercraft. A launching fee is required.

The Campground at Markham has 88 full-hookup sites (water, electricity, and sewer). Each site also includes a picnic table and a fire ring or barbecue grill. The campground has two restroom facilities with showers.  There is a youth primitive campsite for non-profit scouting groups to utilize as well as the Markham Preserve which rents for $350/night.

The Mountain Bike trail is available for use with only mountain bikes and youth under the age of 17 need to have parental permission to use the trails.  Markham's mountain bike trails come in novice, intermediate and pro rider.  Helmets are required as is an annual membership.  Without a membership a daily fee will be charged.  Prior to use all riders must also watch a safety video and have a liability waiver signed.

The Markham Park Target Range offers shooting classes for youth over 10 years of age. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory at all ranges. Any junior shooter, ages 10-17, must shoot under the direct supervision of a paying adult.  The range consists of three unique shooting venues, including skeet and trap, a pistol/rifle range, and a sporting clays course.

The Fox Observatory at Markham is used by the South Florida Amateur Astronomer Association (SFAAA)  which is also based in Markham Park.  On Saturdays the observatory is open to the public and members of the SFAAA are happy to answer questions.
