Ducks and other birds frequent the pond waters and turtles sun on the banks to the delight of children of all ages. Seniors can enjoy the relaxing vistas and walkways.

In addition to the daily advantages of the park, there are also a variety of special events. A monthly jazz concert is free to all. Popular, local jazz bands play for the enjoyment of the attendees who bring their own blankets or chairs and listen for an evening of great music.
