The City of Fort Lauderdale would like to invite the public to their free ceremony honoring fallen soldiers on Memorial Day.  There will be live music from the American Legion Symphonic Band, a tolling ofthe boats, pipe and drum corps, a dove release, parade of colors and a wreath placement at the Memorial Park Cemetary on SW 4th Avenue.  The Keynote Speaker will be Veteran Sergeant First Class Jose A. NEgron Jr.  Patriotic music and a 21 Gun Salute will be a fitting tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our Nation.

At 9 a.m., the Navy League Key West Council will hold their annual ceremony at the Maine Memorial in the Key West City Cemetery.  NAS Key West Commanding Officer Capt. Steve McAlearney will be the guest speaker and the air station Honor Guard will render a 21-gun rifle salute.

Honor our fallen soldiers by coming to show support.  Teach your children of the sacrifices made for our freedoms.  Wear patriotic colors and bring a flag to wave.  This will be a respectful ceremony.
