The City of Fort Lauderdale would like to invite the public to their free ceremony honoring fallen soldiers on Memorial Day. There will be live music from the American Legion Symphonic Band, a tolling ofthe boats, pipe and drum corps, a dove release, parade of colors and a wreath placement at the Memorial Park Cemetary on SW 4th Avenue. The Keynote Speaker will be Veteran Sergeant First Class Jose A. NEgron Jr. Patriotic music and a 21 Gun Salute will be a fitting tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our Nation.
Harbourside Place, Jupiter’s premier waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment destination, is hosting its first annual Memorial Day celebration on May 24 to honor those who have served and continue to serve this country. All are welcome to attend the event, beginning at 12 pm, which includes family activities, a commemoration ceremony and free waterfront concert.
The Veterans Coalition of South Florida will present their annual Memorial Day Program beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 30 at Veteran’s Park, west of Boca Raton. This event honors veterans of our armed services and will feature a procession of colors, guest speakers, and patriotic music. The public is invited to attend.
Join Royal Palm Beach on Monday, May 29 9:00 a.m. at Veterans Park for the city's Memorial Day Observance. A flag-raising ceremony will be followed by motivational presentations in this community based event. The city of Palm Beach Gardens will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony on May 29th, at 9 a.m. in the Veteran's Plaza amphitheater outside city hall, 10500 N. Military Trail. The city will pay homage to the nation’s fallen service members, with fire-rescue and police honor guards, a Memorial Day address and wreath-laying. Music will be provided by Young Singers of the Palm Beaches. This event is made possible from donated wreaths from Flower Kingdom.
The 12th Annual Forgotten Soldiers Outreach Memorial Day Service will be held at Palm Beach Memorial Cemetary in Lantana. Forgotten Soldiers Outreach is a non-profit organization that ships care packages filled with donated items and letters to servicemen and women actively serving overseas. The theme for 2017 is A Day to Remember: 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. Speakers, Tributes, patriotic music and wreath ceremony will comprise the Memorial event. Complimentary chips and hot dogs to those who attend.

Thousands of patriotic citizens from around the country will honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's fallen heroes at VA national cemeteries on Memorial Day, May 29, 2017. Naval Air Station Key West and area veterans will mark the nation’s Memorial Day at two ceremonies Monday morning.
At 9 a.m., the Navy League Key West Council will hold their annual ceremony at the Maine Memorial in the Key West City Cemetery. NAS Key West Commanding Officer Capt. Steve McAlearney will be the guest speaker and the air station Honor Guard will render a 21-gun rifle salute.
For the 29th consecutive year, the Daughters of the American Revolution, John MacDonald DAR Chapter, will hold a Memorial Day ceremony on the Circle on Curtiss Parkway (1st block south of the circle at the War Monument). It will be on Mon. May 29th at 10 a.m.
The City of Coral Gables will be holding a quiet and respectful service to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Honor our fallen soldiers by coming to show support. Teach your children of the sacrifices made for our freedoms. Wear patriotic colors and bring a flag to wave. This will be a respectful ceremony.
