Summer in Paradise

Visitors and residents will be transported into a colorful collection of classic tales during the City of West Palm Beach’s popular Summer in Paradise (S.I.P), a creative series of commUNITY events and offerings all summer long (6/1 - 8/31). New this year, guests are invited to sit back, relax and enjoy a whimsical art installation featuring classic fables, interactive story-telling activities for all ages and larger than life versions of their favorite games like human foosball on the West Palm Beach waterfront.

Manatee Lagoon Talk

Learn about Manatees and Lake Worth Lagoon from one of our very own Manatee Masters. Manatee Masters guide visitors on a walking tour of Manatee Lagoon’s exhibits, providing insight about “all things manatee” and the Lake Worth Lagoon ecosystem. The tour can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Manatee Masters can adjust the length of time for private tours to accommodate large group schedules, but cannot provide that option on public tours.

Mindful Moments Adult Yoga

Body

Join the Manatee Lagoon for yoga classes against the beautiful calming backdrop of the Lake Worth Lagoon. Registration caps at 50 students, students must be 21 years of age or older. Manatee Lagoon has yoga mats for all classes, students can bring their own if they prefer.FREE, but advance registration is required. Sign-ups open weekly for this class.

Palm Beach Paddlefest

Join the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County for their 2nd Annual Palm Beach Paddlefest at Harbourside Place in Jupiter on May 13th, 2017. This FREE, family-friendly event features a variety of exhibitors, paddle board races, free water-based demonstrations, live music by the Bryce Allyn Band and more! Live music will be performed by the Bryce Allyn Band.

Tamarac Memorial Day Ceremony

Join the city of Tamarac in remembering our Veterans as the City pays tribute to those who gave their lives to protect our freedom. The City of Tamarac Veterans Affairs Committee along with our Mayor and City Commission invite you to join them on this special holiday. Winners of the “What Memorial Day Means to Me” essay contest will be recognized.

Marine Industry Day

Marine Industry Day is a family-oriented event aimed at celebrating the region’s marine industry through a variety of fun, interactive experiences. The event features live music, food trucks that serve a variety of foods, children’s activities, numerous marine-related activities, water taxi tours, educational games and much more.
