Midnight Sun Festival

The Annual Midnight Sun Festival celebrating Finnish culture will be held in Bryant Park in Lake Worth March 1 – 3, 2019.  The entire family can enjoy live music, a taste of some delicious Finnish food, and lots of fun!

There will be top musical performers from Finland as well as local bands, a wide variety of fabulous food from Finland as well as other countries, including freshly baked Finnish coffee bread, pastries and, of course, coffee and beer! There will even be a traditional Finnish Wife-Carrying Contest!

The kids will enjoy pony rides, a bounce house, rock climbing wall, face-painting, and much more!

Pete Parkkonen, rock superstar and top 3 finalist in Finland's Idol, will be headlining this year’s festival and performing every day on the Bryant Park Bandshell along with Eddie and The Fenders, We Exist, Rising Sun, Monaco and Pontus J. Back (formerly toured with Whitesnake)! You do not want to miss these legendary performers!

Friday evening enjoy a car show of antique, classic, vintage, custom, and hot rod vehicles parked on the open-air lawn from 6-9 pm.  Midnight Sun Festival attendees will be given a voting ticket with each paid entrance. They will be voting for the top 3 cars. The winners will receive trophies. Each voting visitor will also be entered into a raffle for a gift basket

For some really great fun and exciting action, don’t miss the Wife Carrying Contest on Sunday from 1-3 pm!  Wife Carrying originated in Finland during the 1800’s.
