Annual Florida Mopar Nationals

2017 Annual Florida Mopar Nationals Returns to University Dodge Davie, Fla. -- All classic and contemporary MOPAR cars, Jeeps, trucks and AMC vehicles are to compete for honors at this year’s 29th Annual Florida MOPAR Nationals Car Show and Swap Meet. The premiere South Florida MOPAR show is scheduled for 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge.

As many as 600 spectators and car show participants will convene to admire the range of MOPAR and AMC cars that will be on display. Last year’s show consisted of 219 cars and so far, many cars have registered for this year’s show and registration is still open. The car show is open to all MOPAR and AMC vehicles and they will be evaluated by trained judges throughout the day. “Best of Show,” “Dealer’s Choice,” and a “Participant’s Choice” awards will be given in both the classic and modern categories, and all participating cars will receive a gold, silver or bronze plaque. There will also be a model car contest presented and judged by Model Car Creations of South Florida.

Accompanying the car show, the local Moose Lodge will be grilling burgers and hot dogs, there will be music provided by Scott the Music Man, several vendors, professional photos of the show cars, raffle drawings and door prizes.

Gates open for registration at 8 a.m. on the day of the event and event attendance is free and open to the public.The fee to enter a car in the car show is $25 and you can register online, www.floridamopar.com, or at the show. All proceeds will go to the Darrell Gwynn Quality of Life Chapter of the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.
