Slide the City Block Party

In light of recent record-breaking heat, here’s a great way to cool off: Slip and slide your way down a thousand-foot padded vinyl slide from atop the hill at Vista View Park in Davie, the highest man-made elevation in Broward.  From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, the park will host Slide the City. Participants should bring their own inflatable tubes. Other activities will include deejay music, food trucks, a beer garden, and kids’ games. Fees vary. Ultimate Sliders can slide as many times as possible between the hours of 9am and 2pm OR 2pm - 7pm. You’ll also receive a drawstring bag, a mouth guard and an inflatable tube! Make sure to show up at the beginning of your wave time so you can maximize your number of slides!  ($45-$50/p.p.)

All Day Sliders can slide as many times as possible throughout the day. You’ll also receive a drawstring bag, a mouth guard, an inflatable tube and a hat!  ($60/p.p.)

You’ll get an entry wristband, a drawstring bag, and a mouth guard. Remember that we require all participants to slide with an inflatable tube. We will have some sweet ones for sale in case you forget to bring one. When purchasing your ticket you will select a 2-hour wave time during which you can get your slide.  ($20/p.p. for 1 slide)
