Come see why Funtastic Fridays was selected as one of the top places to take your kids in Broward county (as voted by Local 10 News viewers).  Funtastic Friday is held at ArtsPark in Hollywood.  Kick off the weekend after work on Friday with face painting, bounce houses, games and a DJ.  The family fun continues with ArtsPark Outdoor Movie night during the season.

Just because it's a school night doesn't mean you can't spice things up a little. Give yourself a treat by making dinnertime easy tonight.  Grab the family and head out to Family Night with Food Trucks at Heritage Park in Plantation.  Every Tuesday evening from 5 to 9:30pm a large variety of food trucks line up to offer up a gourmet smorgasboard.  Trucks featured in the past have been The Lobsta Guy, El Orgullo Latino, B.C.

Every Friday at ArtsPark there will be family-friendly movies for you to enjoy. Watching a movie outdoors is a special treat for the entire family and friends. Bring your blankets or lawn chair and some snacks to nosh on during the movie. A FREE family friendly flick each week.

ArtsPark at Young Circle

Make Monday your favorite day of the week.  Take a break from the Monday blues and take your family out to dinner at Arts Park in Hollywood. Miami Food trucks will converge on Young's Circle so bring your picnic blankets and your appetite for dinner under the stars.  Every Monday evening, food trucks will be the bright spot of your day and give your family a special way to spend dinner time together.

Bakers, Makers and Growers converge every Sunday at the open air Las Olas Outdoor Green Market.  This free event in downtown Fort Lauderdale runs from 9am to 2 pm and is free to attend year round.  Bring the entire family for a fresh air stroll on Sunday morning.  Even your furry family members are welcome to come along.  Watering stations are around and vendors even have been known to sell all natural, no fillers, pet food and treats!  

The Gardens GreenMarket in Palm Beach Gardens has had over 13 seasons of success at the City's Municipal Complex. This farmer's market is held every Sunday from October to May. Come to shop and enjoy the live entertainment as you stroll through about 120 vendors. GreenMarket aims to be an open air cultural event that celebrates and promotes local agriculture & art. On any Sunday you will be able to shop some of the freshest produce, cheeses, breads, sauces, jams and more. Garden? Find plants, flowers, and more.

Looking for one of the top Farmer's Markets in South Florida? Be sure to check out the Pinecrest Gardens Farmers Market in Miami.  Ranked as the "Best Farmer's Market in Miami" by the Miami New Times "Best of" list for 2010, this market is an open air market that runs year round on Sundays from 9:00-2:00 p.m.   Admission to the Farmers Market is free however admission to some of the other activities may have a fee.  

The 2nd Saturday of every month the Coral Gables Museum hosts Family Day on Aragon.  Not only are the activities free but admission to the museum is also FREE during this event for the entire family.

Bring your beach chairs or blankets down to the Ocean Avenue Amphitheatre in Boynton Beach for Music on the Rocks.  This free concert series features local bands every 3rd Friday of the month from October to May.

Downtown West Palm Beach is treated to a free live outdoor concert every Friday and Saturday night at the City Place shopping center.
