Explorium Make and Takes

Looking for a fun science project to take home? Drop in for a Make and Take every month! There's always a new project to try out, so check back to see what's coming up this month. No registration necessary. Program will run for approximately 1 hour, or until supplies run out.

Days: First Sunday of the Month

Time: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm or until supplies run out!

Cost: $5 per Craft

 

Hollyweird Halloween Block Party

Body

Back for its second year, Hollyweird Halloween features family friendly entertainment from 6-9pm, including trick or treating, live music, candy stations, playground, magic show, balloon twisters, face painting, and a children's costume contest with prizes. From 9pm - 2am, the party continues with live bands, outdoor bars and adult costume contests with prizes.

Quiet Waters Barktoberfest

This year Quiet Waters Park (954-357-5100) will host Barktoberfest as the K9 Splash Adventure event, October 6 and 7. Activities run from 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. and include doggie splash time, rescue and nonprofit groups, adoptions, Doggie Market Place, kiddie bounce houses, face painting, and costume contest. Admission is free, although some activities may entail nominal fees, and there is a $5/dog fee for 50-minute sessions in the water.

Sunrise Fall Festival

The Sunrise Fall Festival, all-ages event - sponsored by Memorial Healthcare System - is set for Sunday, October 16, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Welleby Park (11100 NW 44th Street). 



Children can enjoy games, face painting, rides and more. Families - take a horse-drawn hayride and walk through an old fashioned pumpkin patch. (Pumpkins will vary in price according to size.) Food and retail items will be available for purchase.  



Deerfield Fall Festival

Don't miss the 2nd Annual Deerfield Beach Fall Festival, Saturday, October 15th, at Pioneer Park, 501 NE Eller St. Enjoy a day of fun with the entire family! This festive event includes several seasonal activities such as picking out the perfect pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, running through a hay maze, enjoying live entertainment, a friendly petting zoo, hay rides, tasty treats and much more!

Generation Church Fall Festival

Generation Church in Jupiter, Palm Beach county would like to celebrate fall with you and your family.  This FREE event will feature games, rides, food and entertainment.  Enjoy Hula Hoops with FIRE or take the kids for a spoin in the human sized Hamster Ball ride. There will be plenty to do and holiday shopping at the Bazzaar.  Local popular food trucks as well as local food vendors to cover dinner so you needn't worry about fixing food that night.  Fireworks will cap off the evening.  Bring your camera to capture all of the fun precious moments of the evening.

Come out to the Boynton Beach Mall parking lot during the weekend of Sept 24 & 25th for some FREE family Fall fun!  This event is an annual affair brought to the community by the Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce.  While you are at the Mall you can enjoy the food court, take in a movie, or scope out your Holiday shopping list.

Latin Music & Food Festival

Presented by Ford, the Latin Food & Music Festival is a celebration to kick-off the Hispanic Heritage month that will feature music, food, culture and family fun.

The South Florida Fair and Hispanic Chamber of Palm Beach County have joined together to produce this INDOOR festival, which promises to be the best of its kind in South Florida.
