Suit up and free your day from appointments because you will need to spend the day in one of the largest outlet malls in the USA!  Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall is located in Sunrise, Florida. It is the largest mall in Broward County and all of Florida. When we say “largest”, we mean wear the most comfortable shoes you have and print out a map of the mall because you will be in Sawgrass for a long time.

Sawgrass Recreation Park in Weston is a wildlife adventure park that features airboat rides, wildlife encounters and exhibits.  Venture out in the the Everglades and get a taste of a true Florida experience.  Learn about the Everglades ecosystem and even some history of The Everglades.  See exotic native animals up close and watch an interpretive talk about the critters.  In the Reptile Exhibit watch an alligator handler show the power of the gator or allow your little one to hold a baby alligator!

Caporella Aquatic Center is located in sunny Tamarac Florida, which is in the Broward County area. This is a great family friendly place to go and spend the day. There is a water playground or "spray ground" for the children to splash around in and have fun as well as a 25 yard by 25 meter swimming pool with double tornado slides.  A special feature here is the zero depth entry to the pool!

Take your budding artist on a creative odyssey through the Young At Art Museum in Davie just west of Fort Lauderdale region. The museum focuses in on helping young children discover and indulge in their creative sides.  They firmly believe that creative expression is part of the well rounded education of a child.  Children are enticed and encouraged to create their own masterpieces as they jouney through each of the interactive exhibits in the museum.

Kabooms Amusement and Party Center located in western Broward county in the city of Davie offers entertainment for kids and adults.  This indoor amusement facility features bounce houses, laser tag, a new arcade and roller skating.  Online specials and packages for activities and tokens can usually be found on their website.  Kid-friendly food choices are available for purchase as well as adult-friendly fizzy beverages.

 There is a spot in Davie, Florida, part of Broward County, that is a beautiful, colorful, great place for families to visit. The Flamingo Gardens is a botanical garden featuring over 3000 species of rare, exotic, tropical, subtropical, and native plants and trees. There is also an Everglades wildlife sanctuary that houses Florida's largest collection of native animals including alligators, bobcats, eagles, panthers, peacock, otters and flamingos.

The Walk of Coral Springs Shopping Center is located in Coral Springs, Broward County, South Florida. At the walk you will find a great selection of vendors. Barnes and Noble, Sziro Jewelry, Salsa Fiesta Urban Mexican Grill, Jamba Juice, and the Venetian Nail Spa can all be found in one convenient place.

Everglades Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale, made famous by the Animal Planet show Gator Boys, offers fishing and airboat rides in the Everglades.  The hour long Everglades tours allow you access to the river of grass filled with all sorts of wildlife.  The informative tour guide takes a group out in their covered airboats every 20 minutes.  Tickets must be purchased for anyone over the age of 3 but there is discounted pricing for children.
