#8: Rockdale Park (Miami, FL) -

Rockdale Park is a 100% devoted dog park, rather than the typical park-within-a-park model. #5: Canine Cove Dog Park (Boca Raton, FL) -

This gorgeous off-leash fenced play area is a haven for locals and a must-visit for dogs, both big and small (and they've even got a separate enclosed area for the little guys, adding peace of mind for worried dog parents!). Unique features of this park include ornate gazebos, plenty of drinking water areas for re-hydrating after hours of playtime. Strategically placed benches for dog parents allow families to extend their stay and take a break between play sessions.  The Dog Park is located within this awesome Mega park.

#4: Oakland Park (Oakland Park, FL) -

Oakland Park's fenced "Bark Park" is open daily from dawn until dusk. Featuring a separate area for small and nervous dogs to socialize, the Bark Park also features agility training equipment for skill honing and extra exercise. Visitors to the Bark Park often compliment its tidy, well-manicured appearance and they have increased the amount of grass in their main areas (which, in turn, decreases the potential for muddy paws in your backseat after an afternoon romp!). The Bark Park is a very short distance from Easterlin Park which features nature trails, camping, disc golf and much more!

#3: Marathon Dog Park (Marathon, FL) -

A grass roots effort by the local dog lovers in the city, this dog park is frequented by some of the most passionate dog owners around! In addition to Rotary park amenities like picnic tables, restrooms, and playgrounds, the Marathon Dog Park features two fenced areas for off-leash dog play, divided by size (large and small). If you're looking to give your pup an outlet for exercise in the Marathon area and also looking to connect with a great group of dog owners, this is the park for you!

Please note that dogs must be leashed, and there are very stringent rules about owner cleanup (to be expected, when sand and water are involved!), but these reasonable rules are a small price to pay to experience beauty of this magnitude with your dog!
