Phipps Skate Park

Phipps Skate Park in West Palm Beach features about 23,000 square feet of a concrete base surface with metal ramps and decks made with Skate-Lite Pro skating surface. Helmets with a functioning strap are mandatory (rentals available) and a waiver must be on file for all park users. Waivers must be signed by a skater’s parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18. Phipps Skate Park is located just south of Southern Blvd on the west side of Dixie Highway. BMX bikes are welcome to use the facility on Sunday and Wednesday. In-line skaters, skateboarders and bikes are all welcome at the facility. The skate park is closed on Monday and Tuesday. There is an indoor area to hang out in when not skating or biking with TV and lounging furniture.

The rest of Phipps Park includes a playground, tennis courts, soccer field/multipurpose field, splash pad for water fun, pavillions and raquetball courts. Pavillions around the park may be rented for a fee as well as the entire water play area.
