Thompson River Linear Park is connected to Plant Drive and Lilac Parks nearby.  This is a pleasant waterside park with a walking/jogging trail, canoe access and a fishing area. Opportunities for a leisurely sit on shaded benches to read or people watch are available. No bathrooms at this park but it is in an area where there are several other facilities nearby (neighboring parks).
