Burt Aaronson South County Regional is a huge park in northwest Boca Raton maintained by Palm Beach County.   Remember to pay attention driving amongst the attractions because it is easy to get turned around in this massive park. Burt Aaronson Park includes almost 900 acres of recreation.  South County Regional Park is definitely the gem of Palm Beach County's park system and one of the most comprehensive leisure destinations in the State!

One of the biggest attractions within the park is the Coconut Cove Water Park with its inner tube lazy river, slides, pool, and kiddie water playground. They charge a nominal fee and also can host parties/groups.  It is open seasonally.  The park also contains the newly renovated Daggerwing Nature Center with it's trails and look out tower as well as a very nice, small exhibit under A/C. After you've hit the water, seen the nature exhibits, and want to shake some sillies out head over to the really AWESOME fully accessible to the handicap playground with restrooms.  Adjacent to the fenced playground is the Canine Cove dog park.  The county hosts concerts and other special events for the community at SUNSET COVE AMPHITHEATER which is in the southern end of the park closer to the water park.

27-hole Golf Course, Amphitheater and a special event area, Fishing and Boating center, Boat Ramps, Fishing Piers, Ski Lakes, Picnic facilities, Playgrounds, Bike paths, Cross-country course, Restrooms, Tennis and Racquet-Ball Center, Water Ski School and training center, Baseball and softball fields (8+), Basketball courts, Volleyball courts sand (2), Volleyball courts paved (4), Bicycle Path (2 miles) and Remote control car track. HOURS: Sunrise - Sunset, lighted court facilities open until 9:00 pm, lighted athletic fields (permit required) open until 10:00 pm, facility hours vary according to season.
