7-Eleven couldn’t resist ending this Slurpee season and the year-long Slurpee Fiftee birthday celebration with one final surprise. So for two days ONLY, the can’t-miss Bring Your Own Cup (BYO Cup) event is back for the second time this year! From 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on both August 19 and 20, Slurpee fans across the country can bring a qualifying cup of their choice to participating 7-Eleven stores, and fill up with their favorite drink for just $1.50.

The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium is partnering with the Palm Beach Zoo for an exciting professional development opportunity focused on STEM activities! This is a FREE event!
Visit the largest aquarium from Miami to Orlando, take a behind the scenes tour of the state-of-the-art zoo animal hospital, participate in live science and animal demonstrations and build, tinker and explore activities in our Science Showcase area.

Mommy Project Back to School
The ladies of the Mommy Project will be hosting their 1st annual Back to School Bash on August 7th, 2016 from 2-7pm in conjunction with the "505" Teen Center in Delray Beach. All ages are welcome. ***DATE CHANGED to August 13th***
They will have backpacks filled with school supplies, free haircuts for the 1st 200 kids and hairstyles, free food, cotton candy, snow cone, and popcorn machines, face painting, arts and crafts, bounce houses, video games, and a basketball tournament!

Orange Bowl Family Fun & Fit Day
The Orange Bowl Family Fun & Fit Day presented by Sunshine Health will take place at Betty T. Sensory Saturday at MCM
Great sensory experiences await you and your child at the Miami Children's Museum in this special event set aside for children with sensory processing disorders and their families. Lights and sounds will be dimmed to create a comfortable environment for your little ones to explore. Participate in sensory based activities, such as bubble painting, and watch a sensory-friendly stage performance. Meet community professionals, such as an occupational therapist and a speech pathologist. Pre-registration is required.

Target Free Fridays
Target Corporation is offering FREE entrance to the Miami Children's Museum on the 3rd Friday of every month now through the end of 2017. Since "free" tends to attract crowds especially to a popular spot like the Children's Museum, please be sure to come early (or late) to avoid the crowds. The free admission is from 3pm to 9pm. Please leave strollers in the car or at home due on these evenings.
