Downtown in December
Downtown in December in Coral Springs is a celebration of the season and holidays.
Make our fun-filled Downtown in December event your family’s annual holiday tradition! Guests will experience the season’s first snowfall on the great lawn, live entertainment, a showing of the movie - Polar Express - and a train ride around City Hall! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and an appetite – there will be a wide variety of food trucks, and of course, cookies and milk for dessert. Parking is free in the City Hall garage.

Coral Springs Holiday Parade
The City’s annual Holiday Parade will be on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 7 p.m. on West Sample Road. This year's theme will be "Holiday Express". The parade will feature marching bands, decorated floats and other entries along Sample Road from Coral Springs Drive to City Hall.

Diwali Festival of Lights
The Indian Regional and Cultural Center of Florida (IRCC) will be hosting the annual Diwali Festival of Lights this year at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale. Celebrate Indian culture with delectable foods, intricate dances and tintilating music! Diwali is celebrated internationally as a major Hindu holiday. The IRCC event will be held indoors in an over 110,000 square foot venue. Enjoy live shows by over 450 performers of Indian dance, song, instrumental music, fashion and more.

Toys in the Sun Run
On Sunday, December 4, 2016, more than 30,000 motorcyclists and double that amount of people are expected to take part in the “29th Annual South Florida President’s Council (SFPC) Toys in the Sun Run” presented by the Mardi Gras Casino. Proceeds benefit the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation, Hollywood, Florida. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is one of the area’s leading pediatric care hospitals, offering comprehensive health services and programs in an atmosphere that is child-friendly.

Entering your boat in the 41st Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade is the perfect way to experience the Holiday season! Otherwise, enjoy the parade from the Red Reef Park (west), the Wild Flower Property or Silver Palm Park.

Halloween in the Garden
Treats, crafts, games, and face painting, too at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca raton! Take your picture with Luna, our sea turtle friend…wear your coolest costume, the fun never ends! Halloween fun for ages 2 to 6! Children must participate with an adult (no charge for adult).
Please note this program takes place prior to regular opening time of noon; aquariums and other exhibits will not be open. This event is geared toward children age 2 to 6 years old.

Trick Em Treat Em Costume Party
Get the little ones excited for Halloween at the Trick 'Em Treat 'Em Costume Party at the Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton. Calling Mummies, Daddies, creepers, crawlers and little tricksters to a costume party with munchies, mayhem, games and more at the James A. Rutherford Community Center located inside Patch Reef Park. This party is geared toward the pre-school set ages 2 to 5 years old. Come out for family friendly indoor fun. Cost is $5 per child.
