Redland's Fish Fry and Seafood Festival

Enjoy incredible southern rock music and kid's activities.Seafood choices will range from Thai to Caribbean, and everything in between. Enjoy incredible music and there will be a multitude of children’s activities, including interactive zone with the Miami Marlins, pony rides, bungee jump, and kid’s fishing zone.

Jungle Agility Course - Think you can swing through the trees like Tarzan…test your skills with this agility course!

Safari Binoculars - Make your own set of binoculars to take on your jungle adventure.

Jr Vet Kids Lab

The Children’s Research Station presented by the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Foundation exercises science skills in children through an experiential lab. Geared at children ages up to 12, the junior veterinary lab accommodates up to 10 children at a time during daily half hour programs, taking participants from sea turtle rescue to release.

Castaway Island Family Fun Night

Castaway Island at T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park in Hollywood brings back Family Fun Night. These monthly events will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 17, with another scheduled for July 15 and another for August 19. The $7/person entry fee includes two hours of swim time and games for all ages, including relay races, pie-yourself-in-the-face, water musical chairs, and more.

City of Fort Lauderdale Memorial Day

Body

The City of Fort Lauderdale would like to invite the public to their free ceremony honoring fallen soldiers on Memorial Day.  There will be live music from the American Legion Symphonic Band, a tolling ofthe boats, pipe and drum corps, a dove release, parade of colors and a wreath placement at the Memorial Park Cemetary on SW 4th Avenue.  The Keynote Speaker will be Veteran Sergeant First Class Jose A. NEgron Jr.
