Hialeah EggStravaganza

The Hialeah Eggtravaganza has one of the largest egg hunts in the nation with 50,000 eggs to find.  Kids have a blast hunting eggs, riding carnival rides, and burning off the sugar in bounce houses.  The Kid Zone will also have face painting and other activities.  Local kids groups dance and do other performances making this a special local community event.  Check out their recap video from their 2015 event on Youtube.  The event is held at the city's Goodlet Park on April 15th.

EggStreme Egg Hunt

2017 will bring a much more low key event to Coral Gables.  There is no plan for a helicopter egg drop this year.  This year there will be TRADITIONAL egg hunt events at the same 5 locations as 2016.  Egg hunts at War Memorial Youth Center. Special 0-3 years old hunt at 10:30 a.m.

Easter at the Farm

Davie Ranch Egg Hunt

This Easter bring the kids to a local Florida ranch in Davie for a special day filled with cuddly animals, bounce houses and an egg hunt.  Small children 6 & under can choose from egg hunts at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm.  Children aged 7 and up can hunt at 12pm, 2pm or 4pm.  For families not keen on getting up and out the door for those early morning Egg Hunts, this option is perfect.  When not hunting for eggs, the kids can visit the petting zoo, hop in the bounce houses, ride a pony/horse or take a hay ride.

Annual Garden Festival & Bonsai Show

The 21st Annual Garden Festival and Bonsai Show at Flamingo Gardens in Davie will feature a Bonsai Show by the Broward Bonsai Society, along with a variety of plant and landscape experts with plants, supplies, garden art and accessories for sale. Demonstrations and lectures take place on various topics throughout the day as well as guided tours through the Botanical Gardens, live performances, garden displays, food, and a Kid's Gardening Zone.

Pines Bike Rodeo

Please join the city of Pembroke Pines for their Annual Bike Rodeo on Saturday, March 5th at Towngate Park. The City of Pembroke Pines Recreation & Cultural Arts Department & the Pembroke Pines Police Department will guide participants through bike safety stations, helmet check and fittings, bicycle inspections and theft prevention tips. Refreshments & live entertainment will be provided and participants will receive a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the rodeo.

West Fest

Dust off your boots and kick up your heels for an epic Western Community Celebration at Royal Palm Beach's West Fest 2017 where the SWAMP meets the WILD WEST. Make plans to be part of another Family fun-filled weekend with a full Carnival style atmosphere packed with Western style performers, live country entertainment, gunslingers and more. Mayor's Chess Challenges

Budding Chess master in the house?  Moms, Dads, kids, neighbors are all welcome to challenge your local city officials in chess matches.  All ages and skill levels are welcome!  Mayors' Chess Challenges are friendly competitions that bring together elected officials, community leaders, students, families and chess players of all ages and abilities to support and celebrate scholastic and community-based chess programs. The free events, spearheaded by Sunrise Mayor Michael J.

Zoo Lights

Celebrate the holidays with Zoo Miami during their special Zoo Lights event.  Stroll along and marvel at the half a million lights on display.  Animal-shaped lights and brightly lit tropical landscaping will help set the festive mood for the arrival of Santa Claus.  Closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo

Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo in Davie will feature over 250 displays and will take place down Orange Drive from Davie Rd. west to SW 66th Terrace.  This portion of Orange Drive will be closed off during the festival. Free activities for both days include arts & crafts show, musical entertainment, youth performers, animal farm, western displays, green product displays , and wildlife shows.
