Mommy Project Back to School

The ladies of the Mommy Project will be hosting their 1st annual Back to School Bash on August 7th, 2016 from 2-7pm in conjunction with the "505" Teen Center in Delray Beach. All ages are welcome.  ***DATE CHANGED to August 13th***



They will have backpacks filled with school supplies, free haircuts for the 1st 200 kids and hairstyles, free food, cotton candy, snow cone, and popcorn machines, face painting, arts and crafts, bounce houses, video games, and a basketball tournament!

Fall Fest at Flamingo Park

Marathon Keys 4th of July

The Rotary Club of Marathon puts on one of the Keys' largest and longest fireworks displays from Sombrero Beach. The party starts earlier, though, with drinks and for for sale, kids activities, and live Music: Free Admission.

The annual parade starts at 11 am, following a route from Marahton High School on Sombrero Beach Road to the Beachfront. Prizes will be awarded for the most spiritied, most patriotic, best overall, best decorated bicycle abd bvest decorated car. To register a float, ccall 305-900-0749.

Spirit of Islamorada July 4 Celebration

In Islamorada, the village’s Independence Day Celebration is to be held from 6 to 10 p.m., at Founders Park at mile market 87 with family fun, food and fireworks. Food and drinks are to be available for purchase. Vendors are to include Chef Drew’s Island Catering, Craig’s Restaurant, M.E.A.T. Eatery & Taproom, IL Pizzarello and Polar Ice. Beer, rum punch, soda and water can be purchased, with all proceeds to benefit the Upper Keys Rotary Foundation. A baked apple pie contest is set for 6 p.m.

The Race to the 4th is on!  Back for its 7th year, this Independence Day bash at the Homestead-Miami Speedway will delight patriots of all ages.  On Monday, July 4, 2016 from 6PM to 10PM, a sea of people, awash in reds, whites, and blues, will descend upon the track—being treated to live music, food trucks, and kids’ activities.  Last year’s event boasted over 20,000 attendees and this year is expected to draw even more.  Of course, no 4th of July celebration would be complete without a fireworks display a
