The Miami Dade County Fair and Exposition is an annual must see for South Florida residents as well as tourists. This fair brings fun and entertainment to families every March when it comes to town. The Miami Fair is considered one of the largest in the country and brings in approximately 700,000 visitors each year.
If you are looking for rides, exhibitions, good food, live music, and an overall fun place to bring the family, the 2017 Miami Dade County Youth Fair is where it's all at! The fair has over 100 rides for parents and children alike and 170 diverse food vendors that are sure to hit the spot if one of the eight finalists in the Foodie Awards being hosted doesn't beat them to it! There will be be daily exhibits ranging from animal adventures (Cowtown, Pig Races, a Petting Zoo), a circus show, to clowns and Fitters (adorable, furry friends) who stroll around offering entertainment, and much more!
There will be 21 days chock o block full of Entertainment at the fair including live concerts, Cowtown, pig races, petting zoo, Clowns, puppets, and of course tons of amusement rides! In the lineup for 2017: 100-ton sand sculpture created at the Fair live, World of Agriculture will feature an original 800-1,000 pound butter sculpture, Pirates of The Sky Caribbean Stunt Show (swash buckling aerial feats), Light Up The Night Robots, Laser Light shows at the main stage, ice skating shows, the Royal Hanneford Circus, The Procrastinators (a group of outrageous drummers), and BreakSk8 Live (an amazing mix of break dancing, gymnastics, all while on roller skates). Best of all, each of these daily performances comes FREE with the ticket price!

The Miami Dade County Youth Fair also places high importance in seeing students better themselves and their education. Due to this, the fair sponsors a number of scholarships, a year-round athletics program, and facilitates over 40,000 student exhibits, performances, and competitions highlighting achievements in the arts, crafts, technology, food, home economics, development, and creative writing giving over $300,000 in premiums and awards.
From March 23 to April 16 the Miami Dade County Youth Fair is open daily (except for about 4 days) Opening weekend starts at noon. Be sure to check the daily schedule before going! Online and at Sedano's Supermarkets ticket prices are $10 ($14 at the gate) for admission, $25 pre-purchase price for P*O*P ride cards (unlimited rides), $20 ($28 at the Fair) for 22-Coupon Sheets, and $25 for the Youth Fair Fun card (21-day Admission). If purchasing at the fairgrounds the prices increase! Admission for under 5-years-old and over 65-years-old is FREE.
The fair offers a number of discounts: $7 Admisiion Before 6pm Monday-Friday, $4 off for Miami Dade County Employees M-Fri, Library Card Holders, $6 Entry for Military, PTA Members, Teachers, and First Responders.
Boy and Girl Scouts wearing their uniform receive FREE admission on Wednesday, March 29th. Coupon is not required.
MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY - Active and retired military personnel receive FREE admission to the 2017 Youth Fair with presentation of valid I.D. on Opening Day and every Wednesday.
– Police and Fire Rescue personnel receive admission to the 2017 Youth Fair with presentation of valid I.D. on Opening Day and every Wednesday.
– Guests receive admission on their birthday between March 23 and April 16. Must bring proof of DOB.
Don't forget, there's FREE parking and tram service. Opening Day cars receive free car magnets while supplies last!

Cuba Nostalgia is a celebration of all things Cuban. The event at the Fair Expo in Miami will be a cornucopia of food, jewelry, music, books and more all aimed at recreating a piece of Cuba here in South Florida.
