Family Day on Aragon

The 2nd Saturday of every month the Coral Gables Museum hosts Family Day on Aragon.  Not only are the activities free but admission to the museum is also FREE during this event for the entire family. The event is held from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm and nearby Aragon Avenue residents, the Coral Gables Art Cinema and Books & Books, assist in making this a special event. Arrive at 10:30 am to watch discount movies at the Coral Gables Cinema followed by the family arts and crafts at the Coral Gables Museum in the afternoon. The Coral Gables Cinema is located at 260 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables, 33134.  Tickets for the movies are $6.50 for children under 12 and $7.50 for those 12 and older, with free popcorn. Check with the cinema for details about what movies will be offered.  Parking is available in the Museum Parking Garage and metered parking spaces along Aragon Avenue between Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Salzedo Street. 

MAY 13th EVENT:

It’s National Bike Month! Bring your bikes, scooters, and helmets to CGM for fun on the Museum Plaza! Participate in a 4pm Bike Rodeo led by UM’s Bike Safe program! Take a 3pm or 4pm kid-friendly exhibit tour of Plan Z for Miami: From Infrastructure to Open Space led by Museum Educators. Get a free bike helmet (while supplies last) or free bike helmet fitting by Bike305 and Everglades Bicycle Club’s certified helmet experts. Enjoy arts and crafts activities and more!
