The first annual Locales Festival by Chef James is a one-day celebration of the Latin American community and Miami’s diverse culture, debuting in South Florida at Bayside Marketplace on Sunday, April 2, 2017! Hosted by Chef James Tahhan and produced by Premier Tourist and Landmark Association, the festival will also celebrate Bayside’s 30th birthday and shine the spotlight on community accomplishment through the Miami Bayside Foundation (MBF).

Annual Polynesian Cultural Festival

Experience the culture and beauty of the Polynesian Islands right here in sunny South Florida at Jaco Pastorious Park in Oakland Park.  Enjoy hula performances, fire & knife dancers, delicious island dishes and a Kids Corner.  There will be a Ukelele exhibition as well as live Island Music.  The kids can keep busy at the Hula competition or making arts and crafts.  There is something for all members of the family at this cultural event.  The event will run from 12pm to 7pm.  Adults cost $10 to enter and children under 12 are FREE.

Rail A Steampunk Journey

"RAIL - A Steampunk Journey," produced by Rivet Nation, will enchant participants with a day full of retro-futuristic festivities, entertainment, films, music, art, performances and more!  This event will take place at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in south Miami Dade county. 

It’s a fun-filled day of family friendly excitement. 

Admission is only $10 per person!

Spady Living History Festival

In celebration of Black History Month, The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum will welcome everyone to the Spady living heritage festival (#SpadyLHF). The museum will bring cultural fun will take to the streets of Delray Beach. Live performances will fill the afternoon at the Spady Museum. February is a month dedicated to celebrating, recognizing and learning about the contributions of African-Americans to the development and prosperity of the United States.  

Deerfield Beach Pioneer Days

Deerfield Beach celebrates its roots with this three day festival that features a carnival, arts and crafts, food vendors, live entertainment and a Saturday parade which concludes with a grand fireworks show.

Celebrate South Florida's amazing beer with samples from 25-30 of our local brewers.  The breweries are spread throughout the Palm Beach Zoo with 2-3 different brews each.  That means 60+ different beers that you could try.  Brewery reps are on hand to answer your questions about their products.  Plus, you'll get to see amazing wildlife and many are highly endangered species.

St Catherine Greek Festival

St. Catherine's Greek Orthodox Church in West Palm Beach will host it's 42nd Annual Greek Food & Wine Festival February 17th-19th, 2017.  The theme is Greek Food & Wine Fest where there is something delicious and fun for everyone: authentic Greek foods, wine & spirits, specialty vendors, live Greek music, kids' activities, traditional Greek dance performances, Greek dance lessons, and more...Opa!

Salute to Spring

Enjoy the beautiful outdoors with free concerts at the city of Greenacres' Salute to Spring at the Greenacres Community Park.  Listen to music, dance and join in on the weekends melodic entertainment at the pavilion. Bring a lawn chair, blanket and friends. Admission is free. Food vendors will be at the park with items available for purchase.

The Cleveland Orchestra

As part of its 2016-17 season, Cleveland Orchestra Miami is offering a free Cleveland Orchestra community concert at Miami-Dade County Auditorium as part of its commitment to sharing extraordinary musical experiences in Miami-Dade County. The program, led by conductor Roderick Cox, features The Cleveland Orchestra performing works by Dvořák, Mendelssohn, and Sibelius, plus Saint-Saëns’s Havanaise for Violin and Orchestra with violinist Elena Urioste as soloist.
